We can provide this service at risk or as an agent for the owner, and in any case can provide a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) for the project.
As a professional construction manager, the Dawes Construction Company oversees the selection of general and trade contractors to complete specific pieces of the project. The Dawes team of highly qualified management staff and field supervisors determines the labor requirements, oversees the performance of all trade contractors and is responsible for ensuring that all work is completed on schedule.
Sometimes we are asked to perform construction management services as well as perform as the constructor. In either case, we direct and monitor the progress of construction activities through our field supervisors, who are all technical experts in their fields. We will oversee the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment as well as the quality of construction, worker productivity, and safety. We also are usually responsible for obtaining any required permits and monitoring compliance with building and safety codes and other regulations.
